The James Hammer Legacy Foundation is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization 

created in honor and memory of James “Jim” Hammer.

Jim dedicated 21 years of his life to serving our country across three branches of the United States military.

His years of service would ultimately become the foundation of a mission I never imagined I would one day carry forward.

After Jim passed away, I knew I wanted to create something that would ensure the life he lived and the years he gave in service to our country would always be remembered. I wanted his name to continue to be spoken, his service to always be honored, and his legacy to live on long after him.

The James Hammer Legacy Foundation was created to do just that—to honor Jim while making a difference in his name for generations to come.

Our mission is to give back and serve others by providing support, assistance, and resources to veterans, service members, military families, and surviving families, while continuing Jim’s legacy of service.

Every person we help, every family we support, and every act of service made possible through this Foundation becomes another way Jim’s legacy lives on.
